Falling, it’s simply never on our agenda, and yet, like so many other surprising and unwanted events, it happens. In its aftermath, we inevitably discover the beliefs, conscious and unconscious, we hold about ourselves and others. What follows is an exploration of the beliefs that surfaced after a fall I experienced last August as well as a the tapping rounds that helped me to facilitate healing both my body and my spirit.

Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge, for knowledge is limited, while imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.” In these days of information overload at home, at work, and in our communities, it is helpful to remember that human beings have the power to imagine a different kind of world, and, once imagined, the emotional intelligence, the intellectual insight, and the spiritual, physical, and social skills to realize this world.
Most of us living in the contemporary western world feel pressed for time. Time rules our family schedules, our work routines, our social calendars, and our personal relationships. Making time and losing time are regular daily themes, themes often marred by anxiety. To emphasize our relationship with time, I imagine readers are asking in this moment: Do I really have time to read this?
